Northern
Circuits first began in the late 1960's when Northern Industrial Services
purchased the assets of Endicott Assembly, a small circuit board manufacturer
located in Endicott, NY., and moved them to Syracuse.
Northern Industrial
Services is an engineering and design firm that at the time was providing
circuit design services to G.E. Electronics Park and needed circuit boards in
small quantities to test their designs.
In 1969 it was decided to split
off this manufacturing group and form a separate corporation known as Northern
Circuits, Inc. to provide proto-type and small quantity circuit boards to the
growing electronics industry in Central NY. The first year was less than
spectacular with five employees producing just over $50,000 in sales. As word of
the new company spread sales began to climb and year by year new processes were
added to produce the increasingly complex designs required by our customers.
From
manual drilling and hand taped artworks, we have progressed to CNC Drilling,
computer generated designs and laser plotted artworks. While the methods have
changed over the years our focus has remained the same. Quick turn around of
proto-type and small quantity high quality orders.
For over 35 years,
Northern Circuits has specialized in producing high quality printed circuit
boards for the commercial electronics industry. We are UL approved and
manufacture to IPC Standards.
Northern's focus is on quick turn prototype
and low volume production runs. We will treat your small orders with the
same urgency and importance as you do. If price, accuracy, and respect are
what you look for in a supplier, let us quote your requirements.
